Jade could not believe how much safe and secure she felt with her head resting on Sir Chuck’s shoulder. She had such respect for him and yet she still felt naïve and uncertain around him. She often wondered if he new that he had such a power over her. She new it was a power he would not abuse but would use it to help her grow. When Sir Chuck mentioned Nick and Amy she knew he was trying to help her. He was letting her know it was okay to share herself with the others. His permission was what she was waiting for. She did not want to do anything that would displease him.

Jade left Sir Chuck’s side to join Nick she started to feel herself becoming shy. This was going to be harder than she thought. She was no longer in protector mode. Nick was not in danger any more and his body really did not need her healing powers. She resisted the urge to stop and leave but it was getting harder to approach the control room. Jade listened to Sir Chuck’s words. “if it feels correct and you have the attraction, enjoy”. Jade opened the door and entered the room.

Jade was extremely nervous as she approached Nick. When Nick turned to look at her she immediately dropped to hers knees and bowed her head.

“Sir, I just wanted to apologize for not realizing you where in danger. Please forgive me for not helping you in your time of need”, stammered Jade.

Nick looked at the woman at his feet. Jade had let her hair turned back to its natural color. In the cabin lights is was a warm soft brown with blonde highlights but he remembered what it had looked like in the sunlight. It had shown with bright with red highlights. He had thought it looked like fire. He had wanted to see her eyes to see if they to had a fire in them but she was always wearing sunglasses. Nick watched as Jade’s naked breasts as her breathing grew rapid. She was under stress and his instinct was to comfort her. He reached down and pulled her to her feet.

“You have nothing to apologize for. It is my job to protect you Jade”, said Nick as he pulled her into his arms and held her close.

Jade had expected Nick to accept her apology. She did not expected to be wrapped in his arms or to be pressing her body into his so willingly. She was even more confused as the blood raced through her veins and her heart pounded in her chest. Nick was causing such a strong reaction in her and all his was doing was holding her. How did Sir Chuck know she would be so attracted to Nick. She was embarrassed that her body was so hot just from his touch that she hid her face in Nick’s chest.

Nick had thought when he wrapped is arms around Jade that she would pull away from him. Instead she was clinging to him and he could feel her tremble. Her heart pounding and the hardest of her nipples brushed against his chest. He was just about to kiss her when Captain Chuck called for his assistance. Nick broke free of Jade’s embrace but the swelling in the groin was not as easy to ignore.

“Jade go to your cabin and wait for me. I want you to prepare your body, wash and oil yourself. I want you naked and in a collar only when I get there. Do you understand what I am asking you?”, Nick’s voice was warm but firm.

“I think so Sir”, Jade mumbled in a very confused voice.

Nick loved the blush crossing her face. He smiled but was shocked that he was able to say what he wanted to her. It gave him a feeling of power that she was willing to obey him.

”Go. I will be with you when I am finished here”, Nick said as he gave her a little push in the direction of the door.

Jade opened the door and hurried below deck to her cabin. She did exactly as Nick commanded and prepared her body. This was not what she thought was going to happen. Nick did not seem as shy as Sir Chuck had described. Jade’s hands tremble as she checks her hair in the mirror and placed the collar around her neck.

“Please, let me be what Nick needs and desires”, Jade whispered in her heart and to Sir Chuck.

Jade heard the missile launch and the under water explosion. If they found out what a chicken she really was it would be more than she could bare. She had to laugh they probably already knew but where just to kind and caring to point it out. She started cleaning up the cabin to keep herself busy. She ignored the little knots building in the stomach.
