Hi, I've been using the handle "Dr. Phil" for about 12 years now. I used to write a lot of stories when I first started, but haven't written much the past few years. My name really is Phil, and I really am a Doctor. Not a medical doctor, but I do have a PhD in Science. I don't do anything remarkable or sinister with it. I work for a private company that makes everyday stuff that people can buy in everyday stores. Very vanilla.

In real life I am also quite vanilla. I avoid personal pain wherever possible and I could never have the heart to actually hurt a person, even if they wanted me to. I can pretend real good, though! If I were ever in a scene, no safe word would be needed because I'd have to stop as soon as the woman began to show a few tears. People can't go against their own nature.

However, in my fantasy world, thing are quite different! My genre is one of humiliation. Intense humiliation. I don't care if it's a woman humiliating a man, a man humiliating a woman, or a woman humiliating another woman. I love the fantasy of the shame and degradation, and humiliation, and ... well, in the words of Tom Lehrer, "it makes me smile".

The reference to Tom Lehrer should be a clue to my age. I'm over fifty and quite happily married. I let my wife read one of my stories many years ago (one of the milder ones) and it just didn't do anything for her. No big deal. I don't want to live the scene, I just want to dream the dream.
