Good evening all, trust you all had a good weekend - well I hope you did!
The Domly one and I have had an excellent weekend of teaching me about rugby. I am actually beginning to understand the basic rules of the game, and have an interest in the outcome and various aspects of it, not just how many clamps or cane strokes I am going to get.
I am really loving learning about this sport to be honest.
Now, back to the 'games' Domly one and I have been playing.
The first game we were playing with was South Africa V England - The winning teams' score is the amount of cane stroke I get! - Woo yay, the cane is one of my favourites.
I knew we would not win - seeing our performance against the Americans, South Africa are just too good for us to beat, but thought we might give a good fight. But no, we totally sucked and didn't score a single point... 36 - 0...
I was dissapointed, we are the defending champions - we should be at least scoring a point or two!!
So, after 80 minutes of standing in 4" heels in a crowded bar, I got what I wanted - a stripey bum!
The second game we played with was Wales V Australia, the total try count being the number of clamps on my boobs - another favourite of mine.
There were a total of 6 tries, I do like even numbers whern using clamps, so I was happy.
Wales put up a good fight in the second half, but were just not good anough to win - shame really. But thanks to both teams for making my evening complete - both the clamps and cane were used in the same night!
Ooooh what a happy subbie I was.
Today's game was Samoa V Tonga, from what I heard from the Domly one - this was to be a good game due to both teams being closely matched. There are some huge beefy men on both sides, should be a good watch.
If Samoa won - I would be tied up during the night (I love that) and if Tonga won I would not.
Unlike the previous games we have been playing with, I had a team to cheer on, to watch closely and try to see thier style of play. I really enjoyed having a team to cheer on, it got me involved in the game a little more.
Samoa lost, much to my dissapointment, so I will be sleeping untied - grrrrrrr
Anywho, enough of my ramblings, glad to see some of you have done this before, are doing this now (with this sport or others). Thank you all for your replies, it makes it much better than me just posting to myself.
Many thanks
