I'd be one of the first to want to participate here, but...here are some questions?

1. What does that phrase mean "maintain that story?"

2. We cannot ask for it to be removed after a certain period of time?

3. Or not removed at all?

Some of us who post stories in various threads, also submit them to publications. Some clarification is needed. Don't you think?
