Bad form... Got to pay close attention to circulation problems and check extremities for warmth. If the hands or feet grow cold, the ligature is too tight.

And if you play with zip-ties... have a pair of dikes handy. Much better than a knife for safely clipping them off.

Better yet... get some proper leather cuffs so you can try bondage without damaging anything. (They don't have to be leather, specifically, that's just the most common material... you want something with very wide bands so it doesn't press deep into the flesh at any point, and something that can hold securely without constricting tightly.)

Bondage with zip-ties or rope or any of that stuff isn't for beginners. You can cause serious injuries with these things if you don't know what you're doing.

I hope your hand gets better, Sassy! Circulation problems can be serious -- my husband actually got medically discharged from the military for a similar problem in his arm (nerve damaged caused by backpack straps cutting off circulation).
