I disagree. Fur-lined leather cuffs with locking buckles are as secure as you need. I prefer no lining--just leather, but if your sub has sensitive skin and likes to struggle alot then maybe you need the softer lining for comfort.

The main thing is that the buckles need to have built-in hasps so you can put locks on them. (see example here) I have these for both ankles and wrists and can be tied to whatever. Carabiners and quick-links are fine--just don't put them within reach of the sub's hands. Same goes for knots (if you're using rope).

Bondage is only fun for me if it's inescapeable. If I can find a way out, I will do it. My domme learned how to prevent that basically through trial-and-error.
