Liz smiles again.. oh it will just be fine. Iīm starving. she tells Luke and takes a bite. She closes her eyes, tastes carefully, makes a comfortable sound. oh Luke thats great. Thank you for beeing so kind. With these Words she starts eating and practically inhales the food. Two minutes and everything has gone.
Soon everything starts turning around her. She gets a little dizzy and tells Luke so. I think that was to much food to fast. she manages to say, still believing this to be the effect of her starvation...
She rather feels than sees Luke bending over her as she slowly sinks deep into the chair, hanging in it, not able to think in a coherent way any more.
Trustingly she snuggles into his arms which hold her up, closes her eyes and at last, falls into a deep, dreamless sleep.

When Liz wakes up several hours later she is lying in an almost empty room in what seems to be a blockhouse somewhere up in the mountains. just a little light falls in through a tiny window, turning everything into a ghostly grey.
Still a little dizzy and disoriented Liz just lays still on the mat on the fleoor where Luke must have placed her. Why has he not brought me to the next medical centre she thinks to herself, then answers her own question: Its so far away, he must have thought it better to care for her here until she woke..
Slowly she pulls herself together... her knees still shaky she walks over to the door.... just to find it locked.
now she gets a little afraid. Why should Luke shut her in here? she knocks at the door, tentative at first, then as loud and hard as she can.
