Yes sir, Liz nodded and almost jumped at the bottle. just now she realized how thirsty she had been all the time. Her exhaustion and the hunger she still felt had not left any attention for her thirst. She grabbed the bottle and went back to the centre of the room. She hardly managed to stand attention before she hastily opened it and drank the water. She spilled a little, running out of her mouth because of the speed with which she drank.
When she had finished the water to the last drop she was insecure for a moment what to do with the bottle. Then she put it down on the floor beside her with as gracious a move as she could make in her current state and stood attention again.
When she stood there again, looking down at the floor, waiting for Lukes next questions she suddenly shuddered. She realized that up to now, she had done exactly as sheīd been told. She had given Luke everything he wanted. Why didnīt she fight for herself? And now she was even anticipating his next questions.. Something went terribly wrong here. She could not just comply with his actions, with his holding her prisoner.
Suddenly all her fear, all her anger, all stress was rising inside her. She was boiling with emotion and gathered all her stubbornness. She just could not play along any more. She closed her eyes, clenched her teeth and just stood there in the middle of the room, not looking at the floor, not at where she reckoned the camera was, not listening to Lukes insistend voice any more, just not reacting at all.
Even when the collar fired again she just let the pain wash trough her, took some time to recover and resumed her previous position again as fast as she could.
When the collar fired for the third time she finally lost conciousness for the first time, thankfully falling into the black.
