i think sometimes i tend to come across as a bit of a know all eeks and i really dont mean to i just like to share things and am nosey and like to know what others get up to and think lol
as im a bit of a worrier it makes me nervous so i am a bit hesitant now lol but here goes i'll try and answer carefully.
you can put the mousse in any pattern you want in just about any area , if you use a 'blob' then just a small amout about the amount you would squirt in your hand to use on your hair is generally fine,
if you are creating a pattern then you use a lesser amount, enough to burn the mousse out but not too thinly spread that it will burn right down to the skin immediatley its lit.
not internally or on the face, under arms or neck or anywhere moist my personal preference is the back and stomach....again as i said dont wear scent, make up,hairsparay, keep all areas hair free and clean,no jewellery... metal burns and plastic melts!!
dont use on any open wounds, reddened, bruised areas.
no ropes,chains etc.keep the sub/bottom totally naked
it sounds pretty clinical and a hell of a lot of do's and dont's but if its going to be clinical then much better in the dungeon than A&E![]()
just all the common sense stuff, have a damp towel and water close to hand.
make sure any area you are playing in is not flammable..eg the bed is not a good idea.nor is a metal table of any description it may overheat if anything were to go wrong.
we've done it on a good few occasions using various methods, cups, flash sticks, indoor sparklers one thing i would say,is i noticed the video said use one with alcohol which is correct BUT never whatever the method of fireplay use anything with an alcohol content over 70/%. and look out for chemicals and water content compare different brands to get an idea you want one thats sort of inbetween, its mostly trial and error as to which mousses are suitable unfortunately theres no exact science to it all brands and contents are different and dont opt for coloured/tinted mousses
that is way too flammable will certainly overheat and could end up with some nasty burns.
fire play isnt for pain play its mostly used for sensation play, the aeshthetics and sometimes fear ...you can get some amazing and pretty startling effects.
the sensations are of some mild heat followed by a tingly chilling feeling as it dies out.
the flame will travel upwards following the pattern and will slowly burn itsself out as it moves along, its usually recommended that top should keep his hand close by (not too close) following the pattern/flame,.
feeling some warmth/heat is good but as with the minute you feel any actual burning however slight STOP using the damp towel, the skin as with waxing although not to quite the same degre will continue to heat for a few seconds longer.
mostly you will find that the mousse will burn ittself out within seconds which is how it should work unless you want to take real risks!,if it doesnt and you need to extinguish it then you know next time to use a little less....trial and error'
let the top test it in a very small area before testing on the bottom, then start off very slowly concentrating on small areas and try to avoid using elaborate patterns or covering large areas no matter how tempting it may seem,as with anything build it up slowly there's no rush and the more experience you can gain the better.
then the fun really begins ...use your imagination and get creative :P
clean the areas and apply anteseptic or soothing creams afterwards.
again i want to say im NOT an expert and am certainly not 'instructing' the only thing i am going by is from speaking and learning from someone we were very lucky to meet who gave us her time and gives some very good demo classes and who is what you might even call an expert in this area ,(ive forgotten her name)and from our own experiences.
the only bad experience we've had with it is that pictures never seem to turn out lol
if you go ahead with it i hope you both enjoy it,we always have done![]()
