You ever scare yourself?

I belonged to a writer's group and we gave ourselves an assignment to write on a topic that we personally are opposed to and work on making it believable to the reader. I found the exercising rather freeing.

That sounds like a really interesting assignment.

Reminds me of the time my poetry professor had us write a poem in the voice of an established character -- either a real famous person or a well-known fictional character. I challenged myself to write it in the voice of President Bush.
