Anal is like anything else in my opinion. For some it's the height of the sexual act, for others, down right a hard limit. To me personally, it's not just extremely pleasurable, it's also one of the most complete acts of submission. To have Him behind me, holding me down, and taking my ass is the same as me screaming "I"M YOURS!!" from the top of a rooftop. In the same context, it can also make me feel very much 'punished' if done by someone that has shown in some small way that he doesn't respect me or does not value the meaning that i place on it. *shrugs*

As far as preparation goes, if worked up to it, i don't require that much lubrication. If however, i am in a situation that i would consider to be 'punishment', all the lube in the world does not relieve the ache.

Again, it's different for each sub and i'm sure each Dom. One thing good about this lifestyle is that you can always find someone whose needs are similar to your own.
