If the pup didn't wake you up until 6:30, consider yourself lucky! Ours would have to go out two or three times a night for the first couple of months. And for the first little bit he couldn't figure out stairs (he isn't the brightest boy) so I had to go too and carry him down the back steps. Now that he weighs 85 pounds, it is a good thing he has managed that tricky task on his own.

Even at 10 months old, he doesn't let me sleep much past 7am.
