There's a big difference between complaining and making suggestions. As you say, it's a free site and they can do whatever they want. I've said the same thing in the past about other changes.

That doesn't mean we can't make our feelings known, and make suggestions which we feel might improve the site. They don't have to accept them, but it doesn't hurt to hear them.

Now, whining about it repeatedly would be childish. For my part, I've had my say. That's all there is to it. Unless they ask my opinion, I'm through with commenting on it. But if they make other cosmetic changes, I'll make my feelings known about them, too, either positive or negative.
