I pulled her close and kissed her, hard. Both our hands were busy, playing with this and that.
"OK, Rusty. We can take a few days to put things together. I have to take a trip to town tomorrow, but otherwise we'll just put things on hold until the medications drop off. Let's take a walk." I led her further down the path we were on, to my meditation place.
"This is where I always went to think when I was a kid. It's relaxing." And indeed it is. There is a naturally-illuminated cave that a creek runs out of; it lights the area around the mouth with a bluish glow. The creek never freezes all the way down, it's deep but warm; lots of fish doing fishy things in the clear water. The area was full of ferns and moss, and the ground was bouncy underfoot. The natural shelter of the area made it a special place; the music of the waters, a melodious one.
"Krista? Come swimming with me!" I stripped off my things and waded into the water, turning to watch her follow, hesitantly. I took her hand and we slowly and quietly moved into the cave... we didn't want to bother the fish.
200 feet or so into the cave the world was lit with the blue-white bio-luminescence of the creatures on the walls or the minerals, whatever it was. The air was warm and moist from the natural heat of the stream.
She turned to me, awe-filled eyes darting here and there, not sure what was happening. It was a whole new world! We walked up onto a bank along one side, just big enough for two people to lie, and made love there together for the first time. In the cabin had just been a release, just a fuck, compared with this. The magic in the air helped, I think. Her eyes glowed silver, her skin was blue and warm and she rolled around in the soft moss as we changed positions like characters in cheap porn. She bit me here and there, I bit her back. We shared the mystic nature of the place, and each other.
Going back to the cabin took too little time; we were hand-in-hand but locked deep in our thoughts. Some of mine involved, "what have I gotten myself into" remarks, but most were in the realm of "what a special woman!"
