Ash was relieved she had seen the sense in what he had told her. Never one to run from a fight, he knew that whilst he may win it would cost more than it was worth.
Khaera was at the closest exit waiting for him as he left a tip for the bar keep and gave the room a quick scan for any trouble that may follow them out the door. She moved with a cat like grace, sensual and purposeful and like a cat, he sensed she could move with incredible speed should the need arise. Ash moved to the door and they made their way to where the horses were tethered. The manor was about a half hours ride away and barring anyone following them it would be good to take in the evening air and find out a little more about this woman as they conversed along the way.
They mounted the horses and rode through town without incident, acertaining that they weren't followed and breathed a little more easily once they hit the road that led to the manor. "So tell me a little of yourself, what is your name and what brings you to this place in the world?"...........
