needing guidance

hi,
im new to all this, as u might have guessed from my name. in my last relationship i enjoyed so mild bondage but ive realised now that i need to have more!
i think im a sub, but sometimes i have difficulty letting go of control...in my real life im a single parent so have to be in control all the time.
would love to get some advice on what to do next, im not a confident person and im too scared just to join in on the chat rooms etc

Don't worry about feeling shy - ask people an dif any are off with you thats there problem, you will find most of us are more than hppy to help a newbie along. As many people have said - find out about the life style and the people you are meeting (in the future).
