The outside was well-kept but once past the entryway of the manor the interior was breathtaking, well furnished and decorated so finely that she almost felt she was improperly dressed to be within the household. She nodded her greeting to the housekeeper, smiling warmly to her then turning to her host. “Tis lovely.” Indeed it was, she’d never had the pleasure of being invited to such a home. Looking about her, she silently admired the architecture and craftsmanship in all things about her, their was skill and art beautiful, portrayed as clearly as the hard work that went into their creation.

She followed him quietly to the study, expressionless in her calm curiosity as her lilac eyes peered about her. Khaera smiled at his statement, coming to his side besides the bar. With silent glee she watched the wine be poured, her eyes rising to his as her fingers gently pressed to the stem of the glass and taking it within her hand.

She had smiled at his remark then perked an eyebrow at his words, and with a slight grin she shrugged her shoulders a bit, “Perhaps.” Was all she said, decided not think on the meaning of his words, and only lifted the glass to her lips and slowly began to drink her wine.

A warm bath… and then dinner… sounded nice.
