Position 38:
Saltare
I stand with my left leg extended forward only the toes on the ground calve flexed, my right leg turned out to the side at a allmost 90 degree angle and slightly bent, my back slightly arched with my hair thrown back over my shoulders and my chest thrust out, stomach tucked slightly, face turned up to the sky, both arms over my head and bent so that the back of each hand is touching fingers splayed as if the petals of a flower.
This position is most often a prelude to the preformance of a dance so i often hold it until he claps or says "begin", of which i know several different types of dance and sometimes he specifies which dance he would like to see (though i have only ever recived formal training in belly dancing i have made up several formats for myself), some have "Gorean names" such as the "whip dance" but no coreography was ever drawn up by Norman in the books other than brief descriptions used to relate the purpose of the dance which i incorperate into the spirit of my preformances.
