thank you for all that information it just bugs me when some papers say that i am a leo and others say that i am a virgo i just wish that they would all agree

Whether you are a Leo or a Virgo depends on which year and at what time you were born. Because the Earth takes 365.25 days to travel around the Sun, that final day/first day of each sign varies from year to year (just as the date of the summer and winter solstices differ year to year). Some newspapers choose to adopt the 23rd as the first day of Virgo, while others choose the 24th. Regardless of which you are, you'll have traits of both, being so much on the cusp between them, but if you go get a free chart from any number of astrology sites, it will be able to tell you your exact sun sign.
