Turning her head, she watched him now with fond undisguised attraction, her eyes pulled to his gaze as easily as her body was drawn closer to his. His hardened body incited within her an aroused curiosity that she almost indulged herself into embracing him… Though instead now, her hand grazed his hip and slid up the curve of his back, the smooth leather slipping softly beneath her fingertips. As Khaera studied him, his smile made her feel protected… and though it made her more curious and more fascinated, it also made the girl nervous. Even as strong as she was, his presence created a sense of a security, a feeling that she often relied upon only within herself… but maybe… it was okay.

Khaera grinned, almost nervously pulling her long dampened tresses in front of her shoulder and nodded slowly. “Yes, I most certainly did, and I’m excited to see the rest of this lovely home…” The words purred off her tongue as she drifted off, seemingly distracted and timid for but a moment. Though her host was indeed charming, yet even so… was he not still a stranger?

Brushing the thoughts away, she leaned into him casually, her enthusiasm returning and washing away any shreds of coyness. It was not in her nature after all, to be so shy, and though it somewhat pulled in the back of her mind, she quickly silenced the callings that nagged her. Khaera was independent after all, but how long had it been since she had relied on another whether for comfort or protection? Maybe… maybe this losing that sense within herself was what frightened her… but also, maybe this too, was okay.

“Come,” Khaera nodded to him in growing eagerness, though kept her voice soft and calm. “I’m looking forward to this tour of yours.”
