The man that placed the hood returns to the stage, he's not very happy with the switching of keys, but decides not to push the point.

He takes a long rope, and ties to one of her ankles
The rope is passed over a pulley right over the middle of the stage.
He ties the other end of the rope to the other ankle. Then gently makes Miss Pan Teer lie down on her back.

Very slowly he raises the pulley until her body leaves the ground, hanging upside down, her ankles held bent by the previous restraint.

He doesn't raise her very high, just a metre separates her head from the floor, but of course with no vision and impaired hearing she can't know that for sure.
