For the third time I climb up on to the stage. I approach the escape artist's suspended body, which is rotating slowly in the spot lights. The great strain being placed on her athletic body is very evident. So far I have used rope and leather to restrain the lovely Ms Pan Teer, now I have something made from rubber. I hold it up to show the audience, it is a long, heavy corset.

Applying the corset to Felina while she is upside down is a bit awkward, audience members giggle as I fumble for a while, then the host kindly helps me by steadying the escape artist. I work the heavy boned sheath around Felina's body, still possible since her heavily restrained arms have not yet been bound to her torso.

Once again I have to take my time with lacing. The garment encases Felina from the top of her hips to above her breasts. I pull each lace tight with all my strength, starting at the bottom (now uppermost) and working my way down to the top. First her shapely waist is greatly compressed, then her rib cage, then finally her breasts are constrained. I hear her grunt and gasp through the hood. She is being deprived of flexibility in her body and also of her ability to breath deeply. Perhaps the corset is adding to the sensation of suffocation begun by the hood, perhaps she is beginning to fight panic.

Before I tighten the corset over Felina's breasts I make sure the key for the hood is tucked down between them (I turn bright red, more giggles from the audience). Finally I knot the corset laces after one last hard tug on them, tucking the long ends back down to waist level, which I encircle with them a couple of times before tying the ends together behind her back.

As I back away from Felina I consider the ordeal she is presently in, the great pressure on her limbs, the pain, the lack of air. I whisper something to the host. He steps forward, asks Ms Pan Teer in a loud voice. "Do you still wish to continue with the challenge." Felina nods vigorously without hesitation, to cheers and applause from the audience. I take my seat again, awaiting with excitement the next development.
