I've been a "lurker" here for quite some time now, and only this month decided to become a member. I've been interested in bdsm for about 2 years now, basically ever since I really started to surf the internet.

I'm 19 years old and currently in 2nd year university. I have a girlfriend who I have been dating for 1 1/2 years who is unfortunately 100% "vanilla" and who I don't believe will ever warm up to the idea of bondage, power exchange or anything of that nature. I brought up the topic a few times, but was met with disdain for the whole idea.

I do love her though, and as such will remain with her even though she does not share my fetish for this sort of activity. So, here I am, an observer in this forum that reads the posts of people actually living "in the scene of bdsm" with envy.

haha, it's strange, but after lurking for so long, I actually feel like I know alot of you, especially people like TourGuide, RedEva, Kittenfemme, Fox and all the others that post here on a regular basis. It's my intent from now on to post on a regular basis, although it is difficult to join a conversation on bdsm when really I don't have any real life experience on the subject other than what I read/see on the internet. Oh well, I guess I'll try.
