Yes, and since I hang out with mostly ultra-geeks, know that you are far, far from alone. The two seem to go together for some reason- every sci-fi convention I've been to has plenty of kink-parties on the sides and in the background. ; )

We're not weird at all (maybe a little). My take on that is that people who are able to admit to their "unacceptable" thoughts and have less inhibitions just let it all out- whatever "it" might be.

I've noticed some kinksters, as well as SF fans and re-enactors, have started referring to them as "Muggles" - people with no magic, how sad.
