Well in japanese San has different meanings depending on the context but in general in so far as being used as a hierarchal refrence of respect it is colloquialy known as the equivelant to both Mr or Mrs or Ms. Since its not used alone in that regard its a gender nuetral sufix attached to a gender specific personal noun (ussually the clan name preceeding it in formal situations).
Additonally one uses a whole different sufix depending upon ones station in comparrison to the station of who is being addressed.
San is commonly used between people of equal station. Sama is used to address those above one's self. And Chan is used to address those whom one has a colloquial relationship who are beneath ones self...such as ones children.
Bakushi is a shortend form of Kinbakushi which is basically the japanese equivelant to a master of the practice of Kinbaku (ie Japanese Bondage) though in Japan other forms of address are used as well.
The words most commonly used between sexual partners in traditional japanese D/s practices is Dorei for slave and Goshujin for Master. Also Goshujin is considered a masculine noun used by a wife to address her husband.
