Now I know this is a tough one, so the first trial will be only fifteen minutes, then a fifteen minute break without the helmet, and so on, to seventy-five minutes total. So three trials in the water, fifteen minutes each.

"Now this is important: can you feel the button behind your middle finger? That's the 'panic button', so to speak. If you push that button, Dee will immediately empty the water and you'll be released from the training. We don't want you drowning, after all! You haven't been here long enough yet...

"There is, however, a penalty. It will only be assessed if the helmet is not faulty or working incorrectly. The penalty is one stoke of the belt for each minute not completed of the seventy-five. Yes, that includes the two breaks.

Mastermike! Glad to meet you. I've had a little chance to study your resume, here, and you should be able to fit right in. Join me, and I'll show you around, and let you meet some of the ladies as well.

Over here, next to the entrance, in my office and personal quarters (which is basically a bunk bed). The back door? That's medical and storage, and storage connects to the kitchen and delivery area.

This is our general greetings area, where we bring the freshly-caught. This is A, our chief of deforestation...(grin), yes, that's what we call hair removal. Just a little joke. Back in the corner by the plasma big screen, that's Dee. No doubt watching "Lifetime Channel" movies. Or "Danielle Stevens" movies. Yes, i agree. Ick.

Across here, we have our specialty rooms. We have a rain forest, a medieval room, and a "If the Marquis de Sade were still alive in the 21st century, this is what he'd have" room. If you need instructions on the special equipment, check with A or Dee. They helped with installation, and helped do the final tests. Hmm? Oh, yes. Plasma TV is behind the picture at the foot end of the bed; the remote allows you to check the security cameras as well as 350 cable and pay channels. All the sports channels, of course. And a stocked kitchenette and 'toy' closet in every room, just in case you need a midnight snack. We'll work out schedules in a couple days, after you've had a chance to get to know the place.
