Don't leave out Georgia,Mississippi and Texas ,as these states as well as Alabama have similar "sex toy" laws! Colorado, Kansas and Louisiana all had similar laws that were not upheld in one court or another and were struck down.

I agree and I listen better then most, part of my professional training as a problem solver requires it, but mine probably formerly mine hears what she wants to hear and then what she wanted to hear becomes fact. Leaving me with the choice of punishment or release. This has been an ongoing issue with her so release may be the only way out and save my sanity.

I listen to her know her as well as anyone has ever known her according to her, but her trust issues may just be too much for my love and desire to overcome. She doesn't realize that each time she goes off on one of these tangents based on a misunderstanding that when I explain things to her that her rejection of it is an affront to me and all I hold dear. My honor, her respect of me/us and her pride in me.

A year of training and explanations haven't really changed the way she responds when stressed. I wish it was different

I think even good subs at times feel overwhelmed by the enormity of their submissiveness.Maybe when other stresses are too high,they tend to take it out on the one relationshp that is most dear to them,and that seems to the dom as insubordination...of course it's true that some are just deceiving themselves but hard to say what's what in such cases.I prefer to withdraw a little,and see what develops. A true sub always come back all the more penitent and you can punish her/him as you see fit...

Sir Russel... i had a very similiar problem twice in the last three years with " friends " .
Sometimes the answer is that 'release' for your own sanity as you put it.
otherwise you'll be no use to the other person down the road. Or you could become resentful. I did that with one.

I agree with your point Wolfscout,The sad thing to me is all the time wasted in passing a bill through a state assembly or legislature,then once signed into law the tax money wasted on defending such a law in the various courts in the states concerned.I have no doubt that the sponsors of such bills as this sex toy law,upon passage ,use this passage as a reelection feather in their cap in their home district ,appealing to the conservative element in such a district.Meanwhile that state's far larger problems often go largely unsolved as little of substance gets through the legislature .Ok so the prisons are overcrowded and schools are crumbling from disrepair,but no matter our town is safe from sex toys!

Ummm have you guys read the patriot act. Now that is one scary peice of legislation. It says you will give up you constitutional rights to allow the governmant to protect you from "terrorism".

They're doing it to us here in Australia and the sad thing is we don't have your constitution (to protect us) and the precious freedoms that your founding fathers granted each citizen as a matter of birthright or being an American citizen.

This is just my point of view and not meant to be an attack. I feel it here and I know you will eventually if not already.

Your all right. The patriot act was one of the worst thing ever done to this country. That at the time no one seemed to blow whistle or scream bloody murder just goes to show why we are in such decline here. They have ruined our school so that we would have more controlable people, then they brainwashed us through tv and our vaulted news reporters didn't do their jobs.
Now we are in a mess that will take decades to get out of.

I am proud of what my country stands for but I am not proud of how we have behaved.

I agree with himind on this. If the sub is having allot of outside pressures that are affecting his/her behavior in the D/s relationship. Letting them lose to blow off steam, not reacting to these action, and to a point ignoring them until the realize what they have done and come crawling back. Then deal with it rationally as a Dom.
