Bad paint job. Not a ghost. Next time you go, check the door. You might find that the brush storkes on the door were swiped like that randomly, or someone was having fun with the wall. stroke ridges might leave an pattern like that.
And those 'orbs' in the darkened room is the camera flash reflecting off something in the room beyond. Although, I have to ask...if your Master wasn't using a flash at the time, was there a bright light behind him facing you? if not, you may want to ask your master if there have been any strange 'happenings' in his house...
