    Oh I have found my little home away from home here...I love to write poetry...so here you go...poem #1...enjoy!


    I think I've forgotten you,
    That my heart can move on,
    But from nowhere,
    Your smile fills my world.

    The pain of rejection returns.
    Old thoughts fill my mind.
    Dreams and wishes yet unfulfilled.

    I listen as you talk,
    Comments and opinions of others,
    The reality of never fitting your mold,
    That I'll never be good enough,
    Never pretty enough,
    Never slim enough.

    I'll never be good enough.
    I could make you happy,
    But still yet...it's not enough.

    How could I have ever dream,
    That you could want someone,
    Someone like me?
    That you would see me as beautiful,
    That you could ever want me?

    How could I dream?
    When my life is a nightmare?
    What lies behind us, What lies before us, Are tiny matters, Compared to what lies within us!

    Ahh yes the eternal relationship insecurities and issues we project on those around us. The sense of never feeling good enough.

    I thought your poem captured them well and it took me back to a time when...
