It is kind of like if this were a forum for wine enthusiasts, and someone just came on and said "Omigod, I just had some Baby Duck and it was sooooo gooood!!!" (Is Baby Duck a Canadian thing? If so it is the cheapest, crappiest wine possible.)
I can see your point (We don't have Baby Duck here though- I had to re-read your post to figure out what duck -as in the meat- had to do with wine! I think the US equivalent might be Night Train- that stuff will curl your hair...); there have always been silly posts regarding the nature of these forums, and there always will be. I guess it just seems kind of narrow and clique-ish to condemn an entire post because, while the subject matter is entirely appropriate for these forums, it just wasn't worded intelligently enough. I mean, he isn't Mr. Lover and this is hardly the smelly pussies thread.....

Basically if he had just said "I tasted my partner the other day, and was pleasantly surprised. Has anyone here indulged in a similar activity, and if so, what were your thoughts, and how did it taste?" nobody would have batted an eyelash.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll be burned at the stake for flaming and boldly expressing a difference of opinion, but I just found the derogatory bandwagoning rubbed me the wrong way. Not trying to muckrake and be problematic, but it is hard enough to become active in the forums and get the courage to accept what could be considered a controversial lifestyle, without all the senior members jumping down your throat because you just aren't smooth enough for them.
