    How can you tell??

Just had an interesting conversation in chat tonight and it got me thinking.

Is it easier for a Dom to help a vanilla to discover the sub in them self than it is for a sub to help a vanilla to find the Dom in them self? and why?

Also, for a single Dom or sub, how do you go about the process of figuring out if the person you may be interested in is into BDSM? Specifically, how would a Dom know if the person they are interested in is, or could ever be, a sub and how could a sub know if the person they are interested in is, or could ever Dom them?

I think there are probably many out there who are newer to the lifestyle and are curious about this, I know before I met Sir I wondered how I could ever know if a guy I was interested in could ever be what I needed, I was lucky Sir found me but there are many out there who are still looking and could benefit from some input.
    Merriam_Webster defines good as this

1: of the highest worth or reliability
    2: well-behaved

The post of all posts for us that are new... I feel like finding someone in this world is the untimate game of chicken and egg... Thank you for the great post and I look forward to reading the replies. For me, I am innately submissive to some degree and I have become aware that my sublte and blatant sub behaviors bring out some dominating traits in certain people in my life. However, I will be silent now as I haven't explored this much more then in my own mind. GREAT post!! Thanks!!
