Hi everyone.
I am new here and new to BDSM.

Just a few days ago, on my 34th birthday I signed a contract with my wife of 7 years.

My wife and I are very honest and open regarding any topic with each other. Although it was a little embarrassing to talk about, I expressed my desire to be submissive to her in every way. Remember, above all, you are writing for your own pleasure and not to make points with, or impress, anyone else. Those of us who are experienced reviewers, always check a writers previous record of posting stories on this site before we produce our review and we try and be especially considerate of new authors.

One final tip. After you have completed your story sit on it for about a week. Then go back and give it a final polish. You will be surprised how much of a difference it makes. In particular, check for malapropisms (synonyms that pass spellcheck but have very inappropriate meanings) and if the work is longer than about 7 or 8 pages divide it up into chapters. For and example read through a few of the new stories on the story section of the site.

Well, wouldn't you have some idea as to what goes on in the mind of a switch...since you've stated in your profile that you are one!

Also, switching doesn't necessarily refer to switching the gender of the person you are submitting to, it refers to finding enjoyment and fulfillment in being both the dominant and the submissive (at different times!).

Easiest thing is to go to the "Stories" area and read a few. See what stories you enjoy the most, which stories stimulate your fantasies. Then put your own fantasies down on paper, nothing terribly long, perhaps ten pages or so. Let your story sit for a week or so, then buff it up and send it in to the "Submit Story" area!

Perhaps as an intermediate step try reviewing a few of the posted stories.

Well, it does get rather hot here in the summer and I suppose there must be some decadence somewhere but what I see is lots of really old folks (FL is a retirement mecca) and hordes of tourists, especiall around Disney World and other theme parks in the area. Well I am not entirely certain as yet how all of this works. Forums are not my normal thing being a denizen of chat rooms. However I like to read and this looked interesting so I figured I'd learn something new and perhaps get to talk to some interesting people.

I too have just come across this thread, so many new members tend to look in the general area last.

I have been visiting BDSM Library for a few years now, following many of the stories and have only recently decided to attempt to write a story of my own. I'm 22 years old, female, and dominant (at least 95% of the time). I've been interested in BDSM since I was in middle school, but was shy (and not into dating/sex at the time), and didn't really explore my interests other than reading stuff online, some writing, and a lot of fantasy/self-bondage. I first "tried" BDSM at about age 16 (light bondage & spanking, a little mental domination), as a submissive, because that's where most of my fantasies were at the time, and because most stuff I'd read said that women were "supposed" to be the submissive ones. As I grew up some, and explored things a little more, this changed.

I met my fiance/sub around the time I turned 19. We started out in a vanilla relationship, but found that we were both interested in BDSM within the first few months. I tied him to a chair with my stockings one night and teased him for a while, and things took off from there. We switched for a few more months and experimented with different things until we found the roles we were most comfortable with. I realized that I was mentally much more into domination, and he just seemed to be a natural sub. I switch every once in a while and will "bottom", but not submit, to him, because there are times I really get into the pain/sensation, and also because I don't like to try something on a sub that I haven't first felt for myself. It works out good. :)

We're monogamous, and haven't "played" with any other people, although I could see it happening in a non-sexual context. Now that we're comfortable doing things together, we've thought about going to some semi-local munches to meet other people into BDSM, to meet new people and learn new things. Clubs/play parties also sound interesting, but I'm not sure either of us would be up to any public scenes just yet (we're both a little shy in some ways, and our scenes are usually prety personal, as I'd imagine most people's are). For now, most of our interaction with other "pervs" is online, through websites, groups, and forums like this. I also lurk, and occasionally post on s.s.b-b on Usenet.

I haven't submitted any stories here yet, although I've red a few (yum!), and I may send in one or two once I get the time to write and type them up. It's always interesting to consider what to say in these introductions.

So where to begin? I started enjoying the sight of women tied up at an early age. Watching of all things Scooby Doo (daphne looked hot tied and gagged) and Johnny Socko and His Flying Robot. It is always hard to try something new, even more so when you are kinda going against your nature (submissive). But being online it is not impossible. Two thoughts here: Since the on-line is a Dominant (lifestyle or still cyber?) you are probably going to do more of what he wants than initiating things within yourself. This means he is probably going to top from the bottom. This is not necessarily bad, if you both are fine with it. So, since I think most on-line things are mostly play you two can go and enjoy yourself.
What I would do is to make a list with him of the things you two would like to try, remembering the limits of cyber interaction. If he still says he has no limits then find a list on-line and ask him to fill it out.
Then start slow and work mainly with mental things, humiliation, denial, etc...For sure work with orgasm delay and denial. Hard to do many physical things like CBT or waxing since you can't be there to make sure it is safe.
Also, make sure You are doing things You want to do or try (through negotiation of course). This way you are also getting something out of it and not just allowing him to work his submissive fantasy through you.
