Hi,

I just joined a couple of days ago and I've already made a few posts because some of the subjects seemed so interesting.

I'm Hawaiian/Japanese/French mix and I have been into bdsm thinking since I was a little girl really but I've been playing for real for a few years now. I've written a few stories though the earlier ones really suck now that I've read them over again. I did submit one a couple of days ago but when I re-read that one I saw some problems and so I hope if I revise it that I'm allowed to submit a revision. I'm also working on some other new stuff too so I hope that isn't too bad too. I'm always open to getting other opinions on my work because I get kind of blind about stuff.

I'm generally a submissive but I have been known to switch under the right circumstances. When I write anything, especially a post or email it tends to be very long, I have no control and I type really fast too, about as fast as I can talk which is usually a lot slower than my brain.

I have my own website that I've been running for a few years now and in addition to stories I also put photos and videos of me doing bdsm play. I'm not shy have another problem to be associated with it, so I don't mind people knowing what I look like.

I've been enjoying this site for a while now though and it was only in the last few days that I wanted to review a story and that got me to sign up which got me to the forum here and that got me to submit my story and inspired me to start writing again. Funny how that works huh?

I've never been into online cybersex or whatever, it doesn't turn me on the way real play does, but discussion is good for me because I learn new things and stories are good because as I've said before, there's somethings in fantasy that make me crazy with lust but I'd never do some of those same things for real. My fantasies and hence my stories have no limits because that's what fantasy is for...to explore the things that you can not or will not explore for real. As for real play, I don't believe that there's any one way you have to do things or you have to act. As long as what happens is between consenting adults and is done in a safe manner and is enjoyable to the participants, that's the big thing.

Actually, we (or at least I) encourage long posts, and especially long posts in this thread. The object of this thread is to give the Forumites a clearer picture of what their fellows are like than they would get from reading your profile page. This "Hi! I'm here." stuff really doesn't seem to accomplish much (other than to prove that you can follow directions, which is something, I guess). :soapbox:

I guess I should actually post an intro since I've been posting on the boards for awhile now :)

Im jen, though people call me sky irl as well as ol. Im 18, female, tend most towards being a lesbian and a domme and am from the US. I am not out about my sexuality or anything associated with to to my parents, though most of my friends know. Unlike Maliia, I abreviate (almost) everything, which is a habit I picked up from a combination of debate and the occasional computer game. (debate also made it possible for me to be able to read *out loud* over 20 pages of typed material in 8 minutes, drink 12 shots of coffee right b4 bed and sleep fine, and made me extremely liberal, etc. Debate was/is my only real education i can get at my school). Also while on the subject of non bdsm related materials- I am obsessed with crafts, mostly spinning and knitting, and will go on about them or my business for hours given 1/2 the chance.

as I said, I am exceedingly liberal. I evaluate my world on several philosophies, including feminism, humyn ecology {yes that is how i spell humyn btw. I also spell it womyn, humynkind, etc and gender edit anything i write), postmodernism, and anarchy :) fortuently, all can only happen in an ideal world, which we are not in. Im pretty open minded even when I do not agree with people, and have pretty much heard it all in relation to politcs and/or my sexuality, so i promise to try and remain civil when i disagree. I have a hard time understanding people who are unable to tolerate "minorities" or people who are different from themselves, especially in anything that has remotely to do with sexuality or gender- two things im obsessed with. Finding people who understand bdsm and can offer support and answer questions lead me to seek people like myself ol- which is how I found this totally awesome forum :)

OK so much for this not being long. I apologize in advance for the aweful spelling im sure you will see come out of my mouth...er posts... in the future. Moving my wrists is at best painful, and spelling was never a strong point to begin with.

Hi I'm ProjectEuropa. I was given the url to this site a while ago by a friend who is a member of this site and never acted upon it until she threatened not to buy me a drink again. I'm an artist which is how I earn my living and I write but that is purely a hobby. Hello everyone! I joined a few days ago and basically vomitted a post out. I was so glad to find a place filled with Dom/subs, etc that I wrote and wrote and wrote. I looked at it last night and even I didn't want to read it. LOL

I am Domme but confused inside. I am going to read postings regularly and see if I can find my center. Hello everyone!

I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself, seeing as how I'm a new member and all. Anyway, my name is jem; I'm a 23 year old female submissive. I'm very inexperienced with submission and have found someone who seems to be a stellar online Dom, but I'm still looking for real time as well.

Believe it or not, I'm actually still a virgin - I'm trying to retain my virginity to give to whichever Master or Mistress that I choose to develop a long-standing, long-lasting relationship in. It's one of the only gifts you can't take back or return once given, which makes it very valuable in my opinion!

I'm currently a student in my fourth year at University, doing a double major/combined honours degree in English and Media Studies. I'll likely be going to teachers' college once I'm done this degree (one more year!). I'm also a freelance web developer, which is how I work my way through school - only one smallish loan so far to my name, which will be nice when I finally get a "real" job. *grin*

I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada (well, just outside of there, actually) but have travelled quite a bit in my 23 years of life - I have also lived in Belgium, France, and Costa Rica for extended periods of time. erm... i've been looking through the site for a little bit and was browsing through the photos thread and came upon, i believe it was bdsm tourguide mentioning something about a new member's thread and thought, oh dear, i posted my intro in the wrong section. This is a really long thread :p

I found this site a couple of weeks ago and have been hooked ever since.

I've had bdsm fantasies ever since I was a kid. Generally I just regard it as what I do but every now and then have gone through phases where i've thought that maybe I should try having more "healthy" fantasies (i.e. ones that don't involve being chained up & tortured) - it never lasts :dunno:. A lil about me..

I, too, feel a great affinity to Canada, for obvious reason.

Do not worry so.

It’s understandable to at first not be sure about things and even nervous. For instance I use to always be controlling and rather dominate as a Leo but I never realized how great it was, always felt like I was missing an aspect of my life that I could not name. At times I’d see on TV or movies if not read in books how someone was taken, dominated completely and I always loved it but I thought it was just a bit of stimulation. A few times I even wondered if that was right to think as such. It was not until I really looked at the situation I began to understand and it was not until I started to act on my desires and whims that I felt “free”. Since then I have become completely confident in how I’am, how I do things and the fact I can give another so much pleasure and arousal by my actions is a welcoming thought.

Yes I would believe that. While I had heard the term BDSM many times it was only coming to this site that helped me to find out what I was and to be happy with how I am. I am sure you will do the same.

One word of advice though - dont rush it. Just take it as it comes and try to understand what your real feelings are. At first, the heady mix of realisation and freedom can be so intoxicating that you may find you are acting like a kid in a sweet shop. Although THAT can be fun too, it is usually better to take the scenic route and enjoy the journey rather than madly rushing along the motorway. Lets face it, now you have realised what/who you are, you can enjoy it for the rest of your life.

Much wiser parties than I have posted instructions for such things elsewhere in the Forum.... just look around. But to toss in my personal opinion, I would use a contract-type thing. Pre-established limits, safeword, no broken bones, and if you remove an eye, you agree to give it back.

On a personal note, just for a lark, this is likely a fun idea. Now and again. Too frequently, and hurt feelings could divide nice people.

Figured it's time to introduce myself instead of continually being a "lurker"! I discovered this site almost a year ago and have been interested in the forums ever since. You're all an amazing group of people that I am very thankful for being able to learn from.
I am learning about myself and don't necessarily know that I belong in a BDSM arena per se, but certain aspects I am very intrigued by even though my actual experience is limited. Part of why I am not sure about it all is that I can't fathom most of it happening to me... but something keeps me thinking about it all.

I am new here and after reading some of the posts I can tell that I will learn alot. I only had fantasies about most of this kind of stuff until I met my husband. He too never had someone he could trust with his wild side until me. So I want to learn as much as possible because after years of research on bondage he seems to be an expert.

Well we've been hanging around long enough now without registering so we thought that it was about time that we registered and introduced ourselves.

We found the forums via the story site and it seems like a good place to hang out for a while. :) SophieAlice and I are partners having been together for two years now. Just to put things in a bit of context, I'm looking to make my bf more dominant, but I want to keep him as a bf and not as a Master. I'm not the most emotionally-stable type, and I don't think my self-esteem could handle being someone's slave! But I do want to scene with him every now and then, so I'm just trying to figure out where on the scale of things I want us to end up, and then work on taking us there.

Tmordan brought up a good point about wanting his bf to be a bit more into BDSM without becoming his Master. I am sure there are a lot of new subs out there wondering, "what on earth am I getting myself into?" RELAX! It is up to YOU and your partner how far and how fast you want to go. Take it at a level and a degree you feel safe and comfortable with. Like any new thing, there will come a time when you will want to test your limits ( or have someone else test them with you ). That is normal and part of the fun.

Most of us have some sort of "safe-word" system when playing. Just to give you an idea, I use a "streetlight" system. When I am whipping or tormenting a sub, she might be yelling "STOP" and it could be part of the enthusiasm for the moment, not to be taken at face value. If she says "yellow" I understand it is getting too intense, but she wants to continue at a slower pace. If she says "Red", that means STOP!!! I get her out of any bindings, we catch our breaths and talk about where we were, where we wanted to go, and how to de get back on track. Suppose she is gagged? I use a small red rubber ball that she holds in her fist. Usually she is glad to have something to clench. If she wants to stop, she drops the ball. No matter what I am doing, I can't miss a bouncing red ball.

Just remember to take it a step at a time. There is a lot of information here. Real people who had tried real things. We all learn from each other. So come on in, the water's fine!

Well, I've been lurking for a few months now, but didn't want to post out of respect for the rest of you. Now that I'm 18, well, guess I can finally come out of my shell. :D

I started getting into this BDSM thing online when I was twelve or so. Somebody I jokingly called somebody a slave and they said they were. Don't think I've been able to replicate how much of a jump in testosterone that gave me, but, anyways, here I am.

Thought I might've had a good chance at making something happen with a girl from Cali, but one of her teachers ended up telling her parents (Catholics) about her BDSM interests, and they went through the roof. Amazing how some people preach acceptance and then turn away from their own children... But, hey, if it's meant to be, we'll find each other again.

Hello every one,

I am a new member, wondering if I am following directions correctly, Please help me know what to do. I saw the advertisement for training.
