Ok, I agree with Phan, but only to a point. I think that there is a fine line between compliance and loss of one self. A sub having the over all "what ever you want Master" mentality is good, as long as it doesn't go so far as they loss what makes them, well, them.

Havensov yes I like those too but actually what I was after was favorite method, in example one of mine is to put on leather cuffs on ankles, wrists, thighs, and knees. These I use by clipping or chaining the ankles to the upper thighs and her wrists to the same D ring as the ankles. Now I take the knee cuffs and force spread her knees open. This I find has her knowing she is at my mercy that she can't stop me from do anything I want to her. First a rant. How many of the Doms are actually allowing the sub to run the scene, even the ones that want to claim the sub is a slave and they are the Master. A good Master/slave couple will have ways to do things in public that no one will know is happening. Should a slave sit down without permission, how can she get permission in a crowd of vanilla friends from her Master, etc. I have been in such a situation.

More on hand signals :old:

Now trish was not wearing any panties, since this is a standing rule of mine, when I got my seat I did a handle signal that was my index finger on my right hand pointed straight out but the other fingers in a loose fist that I placed on my hip and pulled it up as if straightening or adjusting my slacks. Trish stood a little and pulled her dress, a fairly short one for the time, up in the back and sat with her bare bottom, sweet ass that it was, down on the seat. Of everything in this evening she told me later the fear that her ass would show if her seat caught her dress as she shift was both humiliating and exciting.

The night went on with me using other hand signals such as a twirling my little finger on my right hand and pointing with my left forearm to the man I wanted her to ask to dance. Oh almost forgot this one, when I when I put my palms together and rubbed up and down on each other like some do before a wonderful meal it meant for her to go to the restroom and put on or in a toy and then come back. That was followed by the hand signal that told her what toy I wanted. That night I had her put in a medium sized butt plug. That was accomplished by scratching my left shoulder a set number of times for the toy of choice. When she returned I of course stood and gave the bare ass on chair signal, everyone thought that I was just being polite to rise when she came back and assist her into her chair. This was true and my habit so the hand signal was unnoticed.

Again I ask for input on this subject either ones from personal experience or from your fertile minds.

Yes for the slave it is both humilating and thrilling knowing that her Master is there with her at all times.

I also have a signal that basically means "and then". This allowed me to give instructions verbally in front of family or other vanilla folk and then with my hand signal tell her what I wanted.

It was Late one evening and we were at a friend of her's house for a fondue party. They had run out of mixer and I think beer. I told her to drive to Beer Barn since she was the sober one. After I said "drive" I gave the signal for "and then" which is the right palm to the side of my head in a swipe like I was fixing my hair but the fingers were arched away from the hair and the palm rubbed against my ear. I followed that by fingering the buttons on my shirt, even if there were no buttons on the shirt, which meant that she was to take off clothing followed by dropping my hand down in a sweeping motion which meant everything she had on.

She knew that I wanted her to get to the van and strip for the drive there and she waited for a signal as to when she could dress again.
Her eyes pleaded with me not to make her bring the supplies into the house undressed since these folks didn't have a clue about us.

I told her to be carefully parking out in front, gave the "and then" signal and did the reverse strip signals. She was visibly happy with that. Now trish knew better then to argue even unspokenly with a direct instruction. So the pleading eyes before an instruction was fun.

The reason for this means of retrival of supplies was because she had accepted the invitation to this party without checking with me first. The Beer Barn in our area was a drive through place but the man there came to the van window to get the order. I knew the guy and knew I could ask him later if she complied.

Yes Sir Russell,I had posted some comments back in April 06 on this very topic of hand signals,along with other signals as well.Below is a direct quote regarding these signals:
"Matter of fact I wrote an illustrated training routine for a couple where the femsub was required to learn about 16 different poses,much like the Gorean Kajira poses.This was part of a penalty for her.Not only did she have to learn all these she also had to learn the corresponding signals for each which covered voice,hand,light and an artificial launguage command.The Dom told me he could put her through a very gruelling routine of her having to execute all positions at a fast pace using a variety of these signals.Other times he would have her hold certain positions,which were pure agony for her.Apparently this mental and physical training worked as she mannaged to stay of of trouble after several of these sessions."

fantazmaster thanks for that. I personally like to put her into the positions that I want and rope chain her in place. I have a long time ago assigned numbers to positions for a sub that could not stand being bound.

Phantome more the fact that she missed one or so and got punished for it. the hand signals need to be done in a manner that set them apart from normal movements. You could also use a pay attention here comes the signal signal. It is how it is done in sports

Yes I have the whole set as I put this together for this Dom/Sub couple after the Dom discussed the idea with me,one of my many custom projects.

As I understand it this was beneficial for both the Dom and the Sub.The Dom had the delight in setting up these sequences and signals and deciding how many and how long the position routines would take.The sub repotedly shed 15 lbs in learning and performing these and was in the best physical condition in her life!

from this Postion manual.In fact I posted this one position in reply to your hand signal inquiry.Now that you you have requested it ,here are more from the Position Manual.
These positions you will see below are some of the "endurance" positions,whereby his femsub had to exert some effort in order to hold these positions,each for a period of minutes after several weeks of practicing these positions with th hold time gradually increasing as her fitness level increased.
Under the "Do not Try this At Home" disclaimer ,keep in mind this is femsub
that went through these routines was in her mid 20's and undertook regular
exercise prior to this position training.So before trying this with anyone at home or anywhere,consult a physician before attempting these rigorous routines.My purpose in sharing these slides is for entertainment purposes only
and does not constitute instructional intent for anyone beyond the original previous receipients of these images.

I have a personal rant that goes back years, hell decades, to air today.

I guess I should start out by saying I am very proud of who and what I am, a Dom/Master, I do not try to hide who I am. It seems that most of us in the lifestyle don't want anyone to know what he or she is. I can't hide who I am and if I did that isn't that saying that the vanilla world is right, that who we are is shameful.

I don't carry a sign or go around tell everyone who I am but at the same time I do not hide that fact.

I am not trying to say that the subs should be out in public wearing handcuffs or collar and leash. About year and a half ago I had a sub that wanted to be my slave but when we were out in public or with vanilla friends she would say witty things to me like "get it yourself", "how is that my problem", even worse was "why should I".

I don't expect overt displays of being submissive in public but I don't think that the bond of power exchange is to be broken even in the nilla world. I did not expect her to call me Master or Sir there but I did expect that she would call me or answer me with curtsey.

In public I all ways would call her "little one" or "my love" to show the world how I felt. The best I got from her in public was "big guy".

I guess what I am saying is that you need to be proud of who you are and realize what we are about is a lot harder to do then a vanilla world pairing. People that know me in either world know that I am honorable and respectful to all that have earned that or haven't done something to discredit themselves.

When a vanilla learns that I am a Dom it comes as no large surprise and I don't apologize for it and answer questions that don't go beyond reasonable privacy issues. Yes, I have lost friends that way but I have also gained more then I have lost. Strangely I have also found that many ladies express a desire and interest in the lifestyle beyond shock and disbelief. Common question is do you harm your woman? Most of the women seem to understand that I never want to harm but to accentuate her pleasure and how it is that the body can be confused into sensing some pain as extraordinary pleasure when mixed with pleasure.

Side note I have had 2 husbands come to me to thank me for opening their wives to new experiences, none have complained.

While I do visit this thread to enjoy your excellent pictures...thank you so very much!...it is a nice added to read this thought you put out there. Knowing what and who I am as a submissive, it is difficult at times to express myself as such without getting comments from my vanilla friends. Only one of them knows of this part of me, yet even at times, she too will remark on my actions. Not that the gay community has it so easy, but I have found myself thinking that it would be lovely if my sexuality could be as incorporated into my life as theirs is becoming to be for some of them (gay BDSM'ers will have to out only one side of themselves, I suppose. And not to compare my life to that of a gay person's. If everyone all over knew exactly what my husband and I were about, mostly what we'd get is a "you do WHAT?!?!?!" as opposed to members of the gay community who face real threat. Just a comparison for example. No offense intended in any way at all! If someone takes my comments as such, then I will feel just horrible.)

The vanilla world won't keep me from calling my husband "Sir" in public nor will it keep his guiding hand off my neck when we are together out somewhere, as he's taken to doing that of late. But I will say that some of the looks we get sometimes border on the slightly hostile side of rude. This past weekend it happened and I just wanted to say, "what the hell difference does it possibly make to you??", but I didn't. That's giving credence to an assumption on my part as well as acknowledging the rudeness. Why is it that people are so very intolerant of what they don't understand?

So I am going to live my life as I desire. Not forcing it on anyone or asking them to accept it. Just let me be.

I am not trying to say that the subs should be out in public wearing handcuffs or collar and leash. About year and a half ago I had a sub that wanted to be my slave but when we were out in public or with vanilla friends she would say witty things to me like "get it yourself", "how is that my problem", even worse was "why should I".

I see absolutely no excuse for acting that way in public just so the vanilla world won't guess your lifestyle preference. I treat my Master with the exact same respect (and occasional sauciness) in front of my family and friends and in public, as I do when we are alone. I still call him Master whenever I feel it is appropriate and often call him Sir in front of people as saying "yes Sir" can always be mistaken as an endearment in the nilla world as well. I will wait on him and bring him his food or beverages and often sit at his feet if the room is crowded as well. I enjoy doing these things not only because I am blessed to be his submissive, but also because I love him very much and I am receiving pleasure from doing so. It also doesn't hurt matters any that he is also just as respectful and kind to me and will voice a request in a pleasant way and thank me when I have done something for him. I consider myself a full time submissive and would not feel comfortable or worthy of his collar if I behaved any differently. "Peace" ~blizz~

tessa your likening it to the gay community was just great. I am old enough to remember when only a few gays went public and that allowed the straight world to act as if being gay was an act against God. I believe that we do need to learn from them and get the nillas to see us as humans.

As for showing things in public...I am torn. One should act true to oneself, always, and never waver in that; but I must also say I'm not always the person I am when I'm whipping my love, and thus I'm not always seeking to dominate; nor is she always submissive, nor would I necessarily want that.

Never waver in your standards, but at the same time be aware that expecting any sub (or top) to be in that role at all times, in all respects, is asking a lot, and certainly not what should be expected from others in our community. :)

ElectricBadger you may have missed the point that I was making. I agree that a full time 24 7 is possible but even in my down moments I am still who I am.

Some of us understand how that is and find their places in the life to be the same in real life. I am not willing to say my way is the only way to live the life. I just know that my way is the only way I can live. I bet you feel the same.

One more stab at explaining myself, I am not saying that everyone should be totally out in the open, that would be like going to the bathroom in public. I just don't want to hear about how you hide who you are. Most of the nilla women that knew me in a couple format were jealous of the lady I was with because she got treated with great respect and kindness.

I am also NOT saying that those that dabble in the life or only do scenes are wrong in the life. Just treat the life with respect because today's dabblers are tomorrow best Doms and subs.

I have told two of my closest friends of my new way of life and both have been very supportive, so if those close to me can understand i really couldn't care less what strangers might think. One of my proudest moments was sitting down for dinner in a very "proper" country house hotel with my Master, wearing my collar, head held high.

Although I am still at the dabbling end of the spectrum I have to say that common courtesy alone dictates how I act in public with my Master nevermind our chosen roles.
