  1. Storytime.

LoL, this will teach me to keep my mouth shut when i get feisty =)

So back awhile i got that italian soda, and made a snarky vanilla comment to the cashier, lol... *giggles* It's in a past blog if you'd like to read the stupid thing, but ANYWAYS, "random guy who stood behind me in line and chuckled when i made aforementioned snarky comment" sat down at my table today and handed me a cup.

"Italian soda," he says, setting it down.

i must have just looked ...

  2. Love is Blind?

Is it? Some say yes, and some say no. i think i say that it should be.

As far as sex... i've been with males and females. There are physical advantages to both sets of naughty bits XD

As far as gender, i've been with men who identify as MEN (lol,) women who are as girly as they come, men who are even girlier, and some pretty butch ladies. Bisexual? Trysexual? A slut? If that makes it easier for you to digest, then fine. Call me what you'd like. i don't have a problem ...

  3. Am i a feminist? (or) bitch! make me a sammich!

Twice in one day! Y/you people make me blog like no other... and Y/you're welcome in advance *grin*

    - - - - -

i just read through the thread on feminism about an hour ago; there are some very intelligent people here, some i agree with and some i don't... and some who don't respect an individual's opinions enough for me to trust them with mine.

Therefore, my side goes here in my cushy little blog:

i'll start by saying "Yes, i consider myself ...

  4. A Blog in Two Parts

i have a few things on my mind, so this blog will skip around and be largely unrelated -- haha, you've been warned!

    1) W/we'll start with a funny story: i was in the student caf at my uni last week ordering an italian soda (best thing ever!) And when the clerk asked me what flavor, i answered "vanilla." (Ironically enough, it actually IS my favorite flavor.)

But the jackass had the gall to just look up at me and say, "Vanilla? Well, that's boring."

    *deep ...

  5. Food for Thought

i just finished Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," and this post is heavily colored by the thoughts that it sparked. (i wanted you all to know, just in case you had the silly idea that i got this deep on my own, lol)

Everyone talks about decisions as if they are the end all/be all... but are they really? Does it not "take two to tango"? In any sort of decision, i find that there has to be two parties.

    examples:
    (a)company offers a job
    (b)you ...

  6. Breathe

So a friend calls me up Thursday afternoon; says she's had it with stressing/the world as it is at the moment/work/everything else and is planning to get away for a few days - do i want to come with her?

i don't think "hell yes" suffices, but i say it anyways.

So for the past two days, i haven't cooked a thing, haven't worked, haven't worried about shopping lists or environmental toxins or the election... and it's been beautiful

  7. A Rare Insight

Yes, i'm already breaking my usual rule; this blog is largely about me because i feel that i need to say it on record. Don't get me wrong if this is the first time you've been to my blog, though - i'm not so innocent as to think that i'm the center of any world (my own included,) and you'll find that my other entries are much different.

i haven't been here that long, but i have met some wonderful people so far (and some not so wonderful, lol, but it's the former that i concern myself ...

  8. All You Need is Love

In a related vein of the previous post: (and my thoughts are scattered today so bear with me)

There was a time (recent and not-so-recent) when i would beat myself up because i couldn't understand how i could live my life without believing in something. i grew up in and out of the bible belt, and unfortunately for me i came to be a bit of a cynic, so it didn't make my predicament any easier. There are days when i don't believe in the government, or God, or the worth of humanity, or ...
