i really believe that. Having a secret that no one else knows makes life thrilling (or dangerous, depending on the secret... but isn't that somehow thrilling, too?)

i don't mean a secret like when the milk in your fridge expires or if you're not a natural redhead -- i mean the kind of secret where you get off work and go home to be led around, naked, on a leash *weg*

Just the other day i was working, suggesting materials for a costume we'll be building for an upcoming show. i suggested PVC, since in our application it has significant advantages over true leather, and my co-worker just looked at me.

"Pipe?" she asked.
"No, PVC. It's pretty shiny, sometimes a bit stretchy, and -"
"No, PVC is pipe."
"Ok, but it's also a material. They use it a lot in fetishwear."

She blinked a few times, and just moved on. my bad, apparently. *giggles* i suppose i need to work on keeping my secret.
