Wax on, Wax off

I have enjoyed SM most of my life. I have always found people who would participate with me. Unfortunately, I no longer have that luxury. Since I do not have a willing sub to play with I have started to play with myself. Being a Dom, I want to know what my actions will engender in my sub. No sub so I find out by using myself. Attached is one photo of wax play. Wax dripped on a sensitive part can lead to some exquisite pain. The idea is to let the wax drip so that it hits while it can still induce that burning sensation. I found that dripping green wax needs to be done at five to six inches in order to not cause damage yet create a wonderful feeling. I tried a red candle and found that I could drip from less that an inch and still not create that same feeling. Another advantage of waxing is the wax on hair off. This can also create interesting feelings.

Interesting, but the color of the candle should not make that much difference. If you bought them from a non candle store it is probable that they are different types of wax, thus melting at different temps. You should look for paraffin based candles for wax play.

Depending on the colour of the wax...depends on the melting point. same goes for frangranced wax as well. These kind of candles are designed to burn at a higher melting point because they are purely designed for warm room temperatures. The higher the melting point the longer the candle will last...and the less melted wax you have. All the extra ingredients that go into coloured candles stops the actual wax from being pure.

Also you can determine how much pain you wish to endure by determing the height of the candle above where you want it to drip...the higher up you ahve it the cooler it is.....the closer it is to the body the hotter it will be.

I have always found beeswax is best for play. Melts at a much lower temperature and a lot hotter to the skin.

But as in all play whether it be wax...edge or fire play...you must take precautions.

Thanks for the tip. I just use whatever comes into my possession. Temperature is definitely dependent on composition of the candle.
