I had some lovely henna ones when I traveled in India, they were absolutely beautiful, the time and detail that went into them was amazing but it was sad to see them fade although I know here people would always judge you for having such elaborate art on your hands, etc, if they were permanent so maybe the it was just as well they were temporary. I do have to ink ones though, a gothic star on my shoulder and the celtic symbols for power and love intertwined on the base of my back, both of which I love especially as my brother designed one and inked the other.

Henna was what I was thinking of. Earlier they only used to use henna on the hands or at hte most the feet,but over the als tdecade or so,girls have become more adventurous,so you find it on navels,lower backs,all over the place.
