First time I have written down my slant on HONOR, RESPECT and PRIDE so please bear with me since putting this into print will take a lot of time and effort. I will reread and rewrite till I am satisfied with the work but for now I am giving you the rough draft.

Today I have started with HONOR



HONOR, RESPECT and PRIDE

These three terms in our life are very intertwined but also each has a slightly different meaning.

HONOR:

NOUN:
1. High respect, as that shown for special merit; esteem: the honor shown to a Nobel laureate.

b. A source or cause of credit: was an honor to the profession.

a. Glory or recognition; distinction.
b. A title conferred for achievement.

c. A woman's chastity or reputation for chastity.

TRANSITIVE VERB:

a. To hold in respect; esteem.
b. To show respect for.
c. To bow to (another dancer) in square dancing: Honor your partner.
The above is dictionary quotes that are somewhat appropriate to the life.

For me honor is a code to live by including honesty, doing the right thing no matter the cost to you, being dependable and relied on by others. Having honor requires thought before you act so that you have weighed your possible actions picking the one that will allow you to respect yourself for your actions.

For your sub/slave to honor you is where trust comes into the picture. The sub/slave acts as if you are the most valuable thing in her life. She knows that she can depend on you, count that you will value her and your relationship.

Honor is also a force that moves you, protects you from evil and shields you from false moves. It is a the prism that you view the world through. It allows you to deal with people that have less honor or no honor with soiling your soul.

You will need to honor your sub/slave, giving her the benefit of the doubt because she you have taught her to live her life with honor. If she has errored you know that her reasons and logic may have been flawed but you know her heart was in the right place. You know that the sub/slave will see your punishment as earned and as tool to redirect her and re-enforce the correct actions. She will listen to you with an open mind as you explain things to her because she see and believes that you will do her not intentional harm.

This is the ability to look at yourself in the mirror with respect. It is also why you look at your sub/slave with respect and pride, and why she looks at you with respect and pride.
