As far as R/T, do take it slow, and most of all Be Safe.

Take it slow is good advice. I gather my alpha spent 10 years searching before she found me and, even then, we spent our first 6 months fighting like cat & dog before she finally surrendered and flew over here to England to live with me.

All I will say is that on-line is different to R/L and tends to attract more wannabes and players than real Ones. I think maybe the best way to use places like this as a learning tool is simply to talk to other submissives and learn from their experiences ... and their mistakes.

well.. 11 years from my first experience to finding You, Owner.. and 7 or 8 years searching directly once i knew there was a name for it. i spent the last year before i found You not participating in any way except talking to people, watching and listening and figuring out how to spot a good One.. and what made the good Ones good and the pretend ones not at all good (for me at least).

sorting out the difference while i was feeling submissive was just about impossible for me though. i needed a clear head and an iron clad heart to sort through the jumble and not let People pull me off course so they could have Their way with me and then let me go fend for myself some more. *sigh*.. so that meant no dabbling for me no matter how much i wanted to. but that was just my way of getting through it.

it was a very long hard road to find my One, though i think it's fair to say i sort of have some specialized needs. but then that's all the more reason for others to hope too, i imagine. because i needed something, some One, very deep, as real as it gets, and for always, with some special twists that alot of other people dont need. so if i finally found my One who matches my somewhat different nature ... then there's hope for everyone else too *smile*. after all the searching and waiting and nit picking, here We are, coming up on 8 years laters and We are as strong as ever *smile*

so dont give up yullie. just remember to chose very very wisely. after all, if you're with someone who isnt the right one then They're keeping the right One from finding you because you're already taken.
