so would using an electric razor with just water be bad? that's the easiest way for me to do it since i am so worried of cutting myself and then i also cant see everything.

I recommend a little hand mirror. You can get one that has a stand and that'll leave you with both hands free if you want to be able to see everything while you're shaving. It can be quite fun too.

If you want to use an electric, then skip the water and either use an alchohol based pre-shave or a talc "shaving stick".

Water makes hair lie flat (not an issue with a blade and soap...) and that doesn't work with an electric razor. Alchohol or talc dries out the hair making it stand upright so it slips into the shaving foil.

P.S. I haven't had a genital / anal hair since about 1983 and my procedure works fine for a smooth feel and no-none-nada ingrown hairs.

I didn't have any in '83 either but that's because I hadn't hit puberty yet. LOL

Anyway, I like a good waxing by the lovely and gentle lady at the salon...she takes it all off for me and then the upkeep(whichever you decide on) is much, much easier.
