Running Firefox 3.5.7 and not having any problems at all. I also have the Adblock Plus and the NoScript addons, which stops a lot of the ad crap that tries to break through.

The biggest problem I have is, when responding to post in the forums, the time since my last visit will sometimes change and the new posts since my last visit will change, even if I haven't visited them. I suppose there's some sort of timer involved in that.

Ok, will ry to 'answer' the issues,,,

First, as far as the text or overall image being "off-center" to the left, MOST of the time this only occurs when your in a smaller frame,,once opened to full frame MOST of this is gone. And at present theres nothing to be fixed, centering is a very touchy adjustment on the site, as needed we'll adjust.

Second, as far as being "linked" into another site upon entrance very odd and seems to be a singular issue, may be a filter/spam issue, may be something clicking in like a double mouse hit,??? unknown, nothing to fix here.

Third, reference posts there is no time limit on when they stay "on-top" of the area, once someone posts into another thread in same area the post is shifted, the most current posts are always on-top. Recomend in lieu of selecting the latest post/trhead from the far right column instead select the main catagory on the left and review all threads/posts.

    Hopefully this answers the "issues"

...and, due to a total meltdown of my motherboard, I treated myself to a new cpu.

And now, everything fits... It has to do with the combination of the text size you use and the resolution the member has. I can see everything on one screen-width now, and can recreate the problem by changing the text size I display (but it only affects the posts and not the menu bar) or I can recreate it in total by using the magnifier...

So... others who experience the problem can try altering their resolution.

In any case, thanx for looking into it.

Being a kinky movie fan, I think that would be a great idea. Reviews should contain a little of the story premis, not just good or bad in the opinion of the contributor, since thee are varying tastes.

    Forum log in

As I tried to review a story, I was told that I wasn't logged in. Going to the Forum I found that I was indeed logged in but it still didn't recognize this when I reverted to the review section. I then logged out and logged back in but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

I am also having this problem. I have ensured that I am logged in, and the "remember me" button has been checked.

    Site issues

Is the site having a few problems, because in the last two weeks i have bean unable to log in, unable to find the site, unable to log out, on one occasion i was stuck in chat and the only way i could get out was to switch my computer off. My post was pasted twice without me doing anything and even before i had finished writing. Moving through the forum at one time stopped mid change and i got stuck there for a while. Dont get me wrong i am not complaining, but i was just wondering if it is my server or yours, or an area problem IE: -UK?

I haven't had any such problems here. Some sluggishness, occasionally, but I think that's my ISP. The only times I've had trouble finding the site was when (I think) they were updating the story page. Sounds to me like the issue could be with your ISP or your computer.

Thanks for the reply, but i was getting on my other sites with ease, and i have phoned my server and had a line check, this has to be the site end. Its not a big problem for me, but it is a little irritating.

There is no such "stickiness" sort of problem from what we can see.
    Site is running fine.

that sounds like the effects of a virus or trojan on your PC, ian. Have you checked yourself for such?

I do not think this is an "area" problem.

I have had some of the same issues in the past few weeks as well. Like logging off, finding the site, server taking too long to respond, and a few times it has said that there was a database error and my posts to peoples profiles seemed to cycle until it timed out and never did post I had to do a "repost"...

It isnt an all the time thing but three or four times a day every few days.

just wanted you to know that it wasn't just in UK ..as I am in the US

Oh too funny, I dont think the server liked my criticism of it. right after clicking the submist reply button...the whole site seem to go down for the day except for the main web page, but the stories page and the forums seemed inaccessible and only displayed a blank white screen. ROFL..I find that very funny indeed. sheesh...no need to take it so hard *pats the server comfortingly*

I did have a problem logging off a couple of times but, as Thorne says, I think it was probably when the site was updating.

Apart from that, I've had no other problems

We are working to resolve the current issues with regard to response time from the server. Hopefully no later than early next week, the fix will be in: we are going ahead w/upgrading a component of the hardware for the site. When we migrated to the new server & fixed all the old problems, we had a massive spike in traffic, and with the new traffic, we need an upgrade in the capability to handle it all.

The good news is, the site is GROWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The not-so-great news is, you all have to hang in there through the weekend

    Thanks for your patience,
    delia

I keep getting this message when I try and post pics in the 'Erotic Pictures' thread:

    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forums/newattachment.php on this server.

Is this all part of the server issues?

but being patient, just didnt want you to think it was only you the server was picking on

maybe a bribe? although how does one go about bribing the server...lol
