Collar question - who was it?

    Dear all

A sub girl on here asked me quite a while ago where I got my collar. I have the info now, but unfortunately her PM was apparently lost during the last server issues.

Could the person please contact me again? And no, I donīt remember her name - it was not someone I chatted to otherwise.

If this is not the proper subcategory of the forum, I would ask delia & team to move this thread to its appropriate place.
(As the person in question was a sub herself, I think this is the place she will most likely look into.)

    Kind regards
    Arria

Why not just post it and perhaps post a picture to remind us all what it looks like.

There are plenty of people who would be interested and it is a topic that pops up anew all the time.

    Hi Ozme,

Thanks. I only have links to post, but they point to pictures.

Dear Admins, if commercial links are not wanted, please advise me. Thanks.

    Kind regards

Original manufacturer. These models are lockable. You can e-mail them in English.

These sell the model in Titan, as far as I know lockable or normal (with a "Scharnier")

    - scroll down and click on "Talena Titanium".

These sell my model. The English site is under construction, but you can e-mail them via the German one.
Look for "Hals/Armringe" and scroll down to the picture of the opened one named "Halsring, 8 mm stark".

The collar is usually custom-made. State your wanted diameter when ordering.

    Hi moco,

Thanks. What I do like about it is that it looks like a vanilla piece of jewellery on first glance. The only person who ever asked me about it at work directly was an Ex-colleague (he did not ask me while he was with my company, because he sensed my wish for privacy). He is in the lifestyle himself.

Nevertheless, it is rather heavy, and cannot really be opened (or yes, opened, but not reattached) by yourself, so it does not give you a vanilla feeling.

The lockable model cannot be opened by yourself, not even with the key, because the lock is placed in a way that makes it impossible for the wearer to reach it (it is a tiny hole, and the key is a tiny stick, barely visible).
While I liked the idea of that, I decided against it. Firstly, I had to take it off for Karate training, and did not want to have hubby meet me every time before just to unlock the collar.
Second - in case I had an accident which made it necessary to remove the collar, I really did not fancy the idea of someone working with a steel saw so close to my neck, just because the keyholder might not be with me at that moment. *lol*

I understand from comments of several people on here that overseas at least it seems to be hard to find a collar that can be worn all the time 24/7, including at work etc.

This model is nice because it fulfils these criteria (I work in an office myself, something obvious would have been totally out of the question).

To be honest - when I was given it (hubby and I bought it at a local store which is now closed), I complained when hubby suggested this model, because it looks so "normal".
I myself would have preferred something blatantly obvious. *lol*

Hubby then asked me if I wanted to wear it 24/7 including at the workplace, and I said yes - so he explained this model would not present a problem.
He was right, and I have grown very fond of it.

The important part is getting the right size, as it is not a simple circle, but formed a little anatomically adjusted - meaning a size too small will choke you, and a size too large will put uncomfortable pressure on your collarbones/shoulders area.

    Kind regards
    Arria
