Breath Caught

Another sonnet. THis one really isnt erotic but it has an erotic undertone.

I turn and at a glance I am breath caught
by beauty that by any measure known
out shines the fairest that are often sought
as symbols of the finest to be shown.
And, then, to my surprise I realize
that this is no stranger unknown to me
but rather you, who, through these time dimmed eyes
and these passing years, I have failed to see.
The beauty that once fired my heart within,
found anew, to fan passions fire a fresh,
to discover youthful desires again.
Those things that did my heart so well enmesh
remaining yet for me but to recognize
that such love so well founded seldom dies.
