Isabelle\'s boss and mentor is invited to a meeting of the Wallinghurst Pony Club to sign an important contract. Neither he nor she realises quite what the club is all about and Isabelle connives to be invited with him to make sure that his isn\'t conned. Unfortunately to get the invitation she has to pretend to be interested in joining the club as a member. We follow her as she finds the shocking truth of what a ponygirl really is and discovers what it means to be member. What will she put up with to keep her secret intact and will she know to stop before it is too late? |

Wow! Wonderfully presented and developed story that could happen. I loved the way Richard Stirling encouraged her to be scheming and sneak her way in to the closing of the deal. Only to be beautifully played and humiliated by his staff and her old boss, Andrew. Very erotic and very entertaining. Only two soft spots late in the story. But It will be one of my favorites and reread periodically. Cheers !!

A must read for pony players? maybe, i would definitely recommend it to others, especially beginners. Isabelle is a good character, and is one of few on this site that i actually care about through the story. (10/10)

I'm extremely fond of stories that have a female lead, who, when first confronted with whatever humiliating situation, is curious about the whole thing and we follow the slow transformation from just being curious to reluctantly giving in, to submitting to whatever malice one has in store for her.
"The Reluctant Pony" is in that regard one of the better pieces of erotic fiction, thanks to the vivid imagination and skill of the author.

This is really an excellent work. It is really superior so far. Rilawild is a gifted word smith and really paints a picture using that gift. Perhaps his strongest point is his character development. He really brought Isabelle to life, I could feel everything Isabelle was experiencing. Rialwild is a huge author, this was a great story and I can hardly wait for Rialwild's next one. Mark me down as a die hard fan.

Love slow induction stories, even when the end is obvious. The rationalization by the subject as she accepts the inevitable and desired ending. Would like to see what her joining as a member leads to. Racing, dressage, showpony contest, breeding, whatever? (10/10)

June 4th: Story has a very original premise involving a girl who helps her boss and gets humiliated as a result. The sexy scenes are delightfully detailed. I have read 8 chapters - hope there will be more. Would love to know how this gal will relate to her boss on the job after this weekend, and to her future boss!
July 8th: Just read chapters 9,10 and 11. Found these somewhat disappointing compared to earlier chapters. Too much talk about pony tack and not enough in the way of new humiliations or interactions with significant people in her life. Rating lowered from 9 to 8. Hope more exciting chapters will follow! (8/10)

Great, just great! The dressing scene is awesome, but my favourite passage is Isabelle's second bit-gagging. That's exactly how to deal with unruly fillies! May I suggest the temporary use of a blank steel bit in later scenes, maybe as a punishment? (10/10)

Working from the first four chapters, an excellent start. There's character development and a story plot that actually makes sense that brings the heroine down the road to the sex. I find this key points to a good story that's not just a stroke piece. I look forward to the author continuing this fine work. (9/10)

Soooo well written! And honestly, that's kind of rare here. Interesting approach, I think, how Isabelle's situation unfolds, with the bio info coming in the 2nd chapter. That chapter was obligatory reading. Now I'm reading for the good stuff! You've got me on the edge of my seat (with fingers ready!). Please make it good for me :) (9/10)

So far so good. I can't wait to read the "meatier" details of the story where there's some real pony action. This is one of my greatest fantasies and I strongly identify with the main character. (8/10)

The notion of the story is interesting. Unfortunately, the writing style is sophomoric and technically unsound. A bit more attention to technical details and a few better turns of a phrase can tighten this story up into something much more pleasing to the reader. (6/10)

One of my favourite authors - I assume you're the same Rilawild that wrote 'The Photographer's Party' - and this is well up to standard. As ever it's the realism, the way in which you suspend disbelief, that makes it so fine.

- I wrote my original review back in March. Now, three months later, the story just goes from strength to strength. I love the constant tension between the humiliation and desire, and the way that desire always wins.
