This is a beautiful short. There is SO much story here, even with the author's imposed limit of 750 words. Every new discovery about the characters was clever and surprising. This story is like a master class on what can be accomplished through brevity. (10/10)

Who says short is bad? Sometimes, an extremely short story could be a real tease, and this one accomplishes that. Hats off, please, to an extraordinary writer. Keep up the good work! And hope you do more of these short stories, or add some new chapters to this one! :) (9/10)

Experiment succeeded, I must say.
750 words that speak volumes; a rarity indeed. But then again, Ashley Zacharias is one of the few authors who is skilled enough, has enough wit and also enough knowledge about human behaviour, to pull off a 'stunt' like this.
Expertly done.
