I don't know Paul Phillips's work but either he doesn't speak English as a first language or he needs to learn to spell, because the spell check is putting the wrong words in Crack for Crank for instance.
And it's stocks, a rifle has a stock you trap a person in the stocks, Otherwise the conversation is reminiscent of Sesame Street and the action difficult to visualise from the information.
Average idea poorly executed (5/10)

Good work, well written. I say this dispite the comments written before mine, although I have to agree that the spelling could have been better the dialogue was just fine I thought.
Thank you I'm enjoying it so far. (9/10)

Couple of nice ideas and the story moves along nicely, but the author really, REALLY needs to work on his dialogue-writing skills. His characters ... all three of them, so far ... all talk like Robbie the Robot. (6/10)
